General Notes to competitors
There is no control test for this level.
The first eleven obstacles are the same as those used in intermediate level with the exception of Chicane 1, advanced is the narrow side of the chicane both ways. Also the handler may leave the dog to close the gate and not complete a circle. The lead has also to be released on Load 1 and Unload 1.

LEAVE AND RECALL
Dog to be halted outside of cones, you may stand or sit your dog. The handler should be about 10feet in front of the dog. Recall on signal from the judge.

RAMP
Handler should not walk on the ramp. Dog or cart should not touch the sides.
LOAD 2
Load to be around 10 feet from halted dog. Dog is to be left while load is completed. Dog or cart must not move..

REVERSE
A locking device may be used to prevent jack knifing of the cart. Lead should be loose and the handler should not touch the dog, cart or harness. The reverse movement will be approximately 4 feet.

UNLOAD 2
Unload to be around 10 feet from dog and cart.

KERBS
Dogs feet must not go on to the kerbs and the wheels must stay on the kerbs over the complete length. Handler must not touch dog, cart or harness.

HANDLING
Dog to halt at the point, dog will stand, sit and lie down in any order, on command from handler.

CHICANE2 / NARROW SIDE
The dog should return through the right hand side of the chicane, i.e the narrow side.

TROT TO FINISH
Controlled trot to the finish line.

EASE OF CONTROL
This gives a large proportion of the marks and can make the difference between places. Tightness of lead, dragging the dog through the obstacle, etc. must all be taken into account.
